My list — revisited

5 October 2008

Back in August I  made a list of thing I wanted to gain control of my life. It has been a daunting task but let take a look at how I am doing (my comments in bold, strikethroughs are accomplished):

1)       I need to organized my life better

2)       I need to clean my apartment from top to bottom.(been lazy about this)

3)       Run my finances a little better. (I am well on my way. payed off and Canceled a couple of high interest cards doing a low interest loan to cover the rest of my debt. Building a Budget to control my spending.)

4)       Be better at my job (will happen since #5 is solved)

5)       Slow my head down some – I think way too fast and I noticed it is causing some problems in concentrating and personal relationships.

6)       Exercise more

·         Train for the half marathon in April then a marathon after that. (doing this but its slower that expected)

Nothing is easy but if life was easy I would be bored.  My life is entering a very good and exciting time which has been a long long  time coming. I leave you with this quote as I am off to enjoy my day:

When you do a thing, do it with all your might. Put your whole soul into it. Stamp it with your own personality. Be active, be energetic, be enthusiastic and faithful, and you will accomplish your objective. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm. — Ralph Waldo Emerson
