Harpeth River Canoe Trip

The Harpeth River is a run I have done a few times before but this was the first time Chloe had ever been in a canoe.

I got her a life jacket to keep her head out of the water cause she seems to swallow alot of water when she swims and coughs a lot.

I forgot how much I enjoyed canoeing and being on the river. I had not been in a few years even though it so close to where I live. I think a canoe purchase is in my future.

Other than the river being a bit littered and trashy it a pretty good run. It was, according to my GPS, 11.40 miles. It took me , with lot of stops for chloe to go to the bathroom, about 6 hours. With the current drought i would try to go right after it rains. We didn’t have any trouble but if the river was much lower you would.
