Exciting Times….

Tonight, Barack Obama will accept the Democratic Nomination for President of the United States, 43 years after Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his historic “I have a Dream” speech during the March on Washington in 1963. On this night, for the first time in the history of this great democratic experiment, our president could be an African American.

Just like John F. Kennedy at the Los Angeles Coliseuam, he will accept the nomination  at Invesco Field @ Mile High in Denver in front if 76,000 people.

He has come along way for his “Yes We Can” speech after Losing New Hampshire in the primary… to tonight.

These times are exciting … It is great to be alive to witness this.

  • You crack me up. So silly. It is exciting to witness. I’m glad that I have you to be as excited, and some times moreso than myself.
